Dr. Mahl was mentored in the art and science of Non-surgical Orthopedics and Sports Injuries, Stem Cells, PRP, Orthobiologics, Prolotherapy, Prolozone,and Regenerative Medicine for several years by Dr. Alvin Stein, one of the foremost and well-respected orthopedists and early Regenerative Medicine doctors in the United States.

Dr. Mahl now lectures, teaches and trains other physicians throughout the world in Regenerative Medicine, including Platelet Rich Plasma and Stem Cell procedures from peripheral blood, bone marrow, and adipose tissues. Dr. Mahl is President of the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM). He is certified in interventional, Regenerative, Orthopedic Medicine and Age Management Medicine. He serves on an Investigational Review Board that sponsors and oversees Clinical Research Trials in the United States and other countries for the Institute for Cellular and Regenerative Medicine (ICRM).

He is the Director of the international medical missions of the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM). Dr Mahl also serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Academy of Pain Medicine. He actively lectures, trains and teaches other physicians in Regenerative Medicine and Regenerative, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine throughout the world.

Dr. Mahl is a member of numerous other professional organizations in the field of Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine and Anti-aging Medicine and also serves on the Medical Advisory Board of numerous Stem Cell Companies and Clinical Research companies to help assess and develop new products and techniques and treatments. He continues to hold workshops in his Miami office and often has doctors from the United States and Latin America observing his work on patients.
